Fundraising
The Pastor and Principal, with the
support and guidance of the School Advisory Board and the Parish
Finance Committee, attempt to keep tuition as affordable as possible
while factoring in the yearly rise in the cost of personnel, benefits,
insurance, and other budget factors.
Fundraising is an important part of the financial life of St. Cyprian
School since tuition alone does not cover the cost of educating a
student. We therefore attempt to raise the necessary funds to make up
the difference through a variety of events and activities. SAC
has established our six primary Fundraisers to focus efforts on
throughout the year. These primary six include, but are not limited to
the following:
SCRIP and e-Scrip
These two programs are the most cost effective
of any fundraising activity. You receive value for your dollar when
using SCRIP or e-Scrip for your purchases. For more information, take a look here.
The Scrip program is a year round fund raiser. Profit ranges from 1.5%-25% depending upon merchant.

Bridge
the Gap is our primary means of raising funds. Bridge the Gap is an
annual appeal that allows St. Cyprian School to provide financial aid
and scholarship money to families who, without it, would not be able to
afford a Catholic education for their child(ren). 100% of
donations plus matching funds.

The
Annual Festival is a social event that has the added bonus of raising
money. The Fall Festival, held on the last Sunday in September, brings
not only the school and parish community together for a day of fun and
great food, it also reaches out to the local community for their
participation.
