"Welcome to Hollywood" Auction Event (Flyer) Please Join Us …………… For an exciting evening of live & silent auction, great food, wine, music, and fun! When: Saturday, February 23rd 2008 at 5pm Where: Walsh Hall at St. Cyprian School What: Semi Formal To be added to our invitation mailing, please send us an email with your name and address. ALL Inquires, contact: Auction@saintcyprianschool.org HOW YOU CAN HELP: (Flyer) Frequent Flyer Miles or Airline ticket donations Liquor Donations Gift or Service Donations Auctioneer Referrals Sponsors Advertising Ideas/ Suggestions For ALL Donations & Sponsors, please fill out the Auction Form We can provide a tax deductible letter for all donations. * Referrals A lot of discounted or free of charge services come from someone who knows someone. Sometimes we know of a person or band that will play music either discounted or free of charge, or someone who can help with discounted banners/ signs, decoration/prop loaners for the evening, etc. Any kind of referral that would help with this event would be wonderful!! * Donations Although we worked on soliciting to businesses and such and we actually had a decent amount of donations received, a lot of our donations came from family and friends. If you have anything you are willing to donate or know of a friend or family willing to donate, as long as it is new, nothing is too little or small. We take the small things and group them together with other items to make gift baskets and this works well. Donations also include personal services (Anything. Last year one parent offered a dessert of the month club. She baked goods once a month and delivered it to the school for pickup) * Auctioneer Do you have what it takes to be an Auctioneer? We need you! * Sponsors A lot of people work for companies that would be willing to sponsor our event. Take a moment and ask. We even have affordable sponsor opportunities for individuals. We could also use help by passing out donation solicitation letters when you go to get your haircut, when you go to your dentist, when you go to the gym, or when your child is in a program, etc. * Advertising Ask if you can post a flyer at the local businesses you visit and hand a flyer out to your neighbors and friends. |
